Goodbye....
Hey there!
I guess I finish where I started…72 days ago I sat here in Costa
with my head in my hands wondering how the heck I am to write a blog. Here I am
10 weeks later, and I would like to say I’ve made progress and learnt something
new!
Speaking of progress, this morning myself and some friends held a workshop on big data and business intelligence (not something I thought I would ever do and even more, enjoy). Go have a look at their blogs if that is something that interests you: Rachael's Digital Economy Blogs , Hazel's Digital Times and Rachel's Digital Economy Blogs . I’m not sure if you remember, but I actually done a blog post on this a few weeks ago, feel free to read if you haven't already! Big Data Blog & if that doesn't work:

It was interesting to see
the research I did for my blog, as well as the material I learnt in class and applying
that to a real-life situation. My section of the workshop was on benefits and challenges,
which is something I neglected in my blog. I also did a little activity on Amazon
and how they use Big Data & BI. Overall, the workshop was good. It got me
out of my comfort zone, as I ‘ve only done a handful of presentations before…I much
prefer a workshop! It is less nerve-wracking as there is much more engagement with
classmates and less worrying about reciting information.
I guess it’s time to say goodbye đŸ‘‹. I hope you enjoyed my blogs over the
past few months! Although, I didn’t get my dream course, it did lead me where I
am today…to leave you with my final quote “What’s meant for you in
life won’t pass you by and what passes by you was never meant to be!”.
Maybe I will see you again someday…See you on the flip side,
Laura
